Apache Guacamole is the clientless remote-access gateway: your office PC, servers, and client machines reachable over RDP, VNC, and SSH from any browser, with nothing to install on the connecting side. One login, per-user permissions, optional session recording.

What we install
Our playbook deploys the official stack (guacd, the web app, and its PostgreSQL) behind the server's HTTPS front at your guac subdomain, with the default admin locked to credentials from your handover email and recording storage prepared.
What managed covers
Server updates, daily snapshots, dual offsite backups that include the connection database and recordings, monitoring, firewall, and humans on call. Which machines it can reach, and who can reach them, stays entirely in your hands.

What does 'use my PC from anywhere' actually look like?
Your computer stays at the office with all its software and files. From a hotel laptop or a tablet you open your guac subdomain, log in, and the desktop is there in the tab: the session runs browser to your Cube to your machine, with no third-party relay in the middle and nothing to install on either end.
My PC is behind home or office NAT. How does Guacamole reach it?
The gateway needs a route to the machine. The clean answer is WireGuard from our catalog on the same Cube: your PC keeps an outbound tunnel to the server, no ports opened at home, and Guacamole connects across it. Port forwarding works too if you control the router; the tunnel is the tidier habit.
Why this instead of TeamViewer or AnyDesk?
No third-party cloud sees your session, no per-seat subscription grows with your team, and it works on locked-down machines where remote-support agents are banned but RDP is allowed. For agencies, one Guacamole with per-user permissions to every client machine, plus session recording, is a compliance feature the SaaS tools price as enterprise.
How much server does it need?
1 GB runs the gateway for personal and small-team use; sessions are proxied, not rendered here, so the Cube stays light. Turn on recording for many concurrent sessions and disk becomes the resource to watch, which the included 2x-disk S3 backup space absorbs gracefully.

Frequently asked questions
Does Guacamole work with Windows, Mac, and Linux targets?
Windows over RDP natively, Linux over SSH or VNC, and Mac over VNC with screen sharing enabled. The connecting side needs only a browser, which is the whole point of clientless.
Can I give each team member different machines?
Yes: per-user and per-group permissions on every connection are core Guacamole, and admin actions are audited. One gateway serves the whole team with each person seeing only their machines.
