A firewall that someone actually watches

A network firewall appliance sits in front of your server, managed by us and fed by live threat data from central log analysis: when one server in the fleet is attacked, every server becomes protected.

How it works, technically

Traffic reaches a hardware firewall and intrusion detection layer before it ever touches your VPS. Rules are maintained by our staff, and the interesting part is where new rules come from: the central log pipeline. A brute-force pattern, scanner fingerprint, or exploit attempt seen anywhere in the fleet becomes a block distributed everywhere.

This is the difference between hardening one server well and defending a fleet. A single machine only learns from attacks on itself; ours learn from attacks on all of them. You keep your own OS-level firewall and full root on top, ours is the layer in front, absorbing the noise before it becomes your CPU load.

FAQ

Intelligent Firewall, answered.

Can I still run my own firewall rules?

Yes. You have full root; iptables, nftables, firewalld, and panel firewalls all work normally. The managed appliance is an additional layer in front of the server.

Does it block legitimate traffic?

Rules target attack signatures and confirmed abusive sources, and staff reviews the pipeline. If something of yours is ever caught, support fixes it in minutes.

What is the IDS part?

Intrusion detection: pattern analysis on traffic and logs that recognizes attack behavior, brute force, scanning, exploitation attempts, and turns it into blocks and alerts.

Your server runs. You sleep.

Fully managed hosting from people who have been doing this since 2001.
